We’re an artistic bunch, here at The Hive, as evidenced by our creative surroundings, better known as Shoreditch, and the huge array of students staying with us who attend the University of the Arts London; Europe’s largest university to specialise in art, design, fashion and the performing arts. Indeed, when asked, our residents will tell you that, alongside our incredible security features (which include 24/7 staff presence, CCTV and secure key fob access), it’s our central location that makes The Hive so desirable.

So just how convenient is our student housing for students of the University of the Arts London?

London College of Fashion at John Prince’s St

20 John Prince’s St, London W1G 0BJ, UK

Simply jump on the Central Line at Bethnal Green (5 minutes walk from The Hive), and jump off at Oxford Circus Underground Station – the London College of Fashion is just a 2 minute walk away.  The journey takes only 20 minutes in total, and Central Line trains run every two minutes, ensuring you’ll never have long to wait.

London College of Fashion at High Holborn

272 High Holborn, London WC1V 7EY, UK

An even shorter journey than above, simply jump off the Central Line at Holborn and walk three minutes to arrive at the London College of fashion. The total journey time takes just 19 minutes.

London College of Fashion at Golden Lane

Golden Lane, London EC1Y 0UU

Switch to The London Overground from Bethnal Green for this one, and you’ll be at Liverpool Street within one stop, there you’ll be able to choose from the Metropolitan, Hammersmith and City, or Circle Line to whisk you away to The London College of Fashion at Golden Lane.  If you prefer a more direct route, why not jump on a bike, which will take you just 15 minutes door to door?

London College of Fashion at Curtain Rd

Shoreditch, London EC2A 3AA, UK

The London College of Fashion campus at Curtain Rd is so close to The Hive, we’d suggest simply walking it.  At only a mile away, you can cover the distance in 20 minutes on foot (9 mins on a bike), or, if it’s raining (or you’ve slept in!), you can jump on the 388 bus, which will take you door to door in just 19 minutes.

Student accommodation at other University of the Arts London colleges

But it’s not just the Central London colleges that benefit from The Hive’s great location.  Wimbledon College of Arts, Camberwell College of Arts and the London College of Communication are all conveniently placed within easy reach of The Hive.  So wherever you choose to study at the University of the Arts London, make sure you book your London student accommodation at The Hive.

  1. Hello my names Daisy, I was wondering how much your accommodation is and if four of us would be able to live together in one area? Or are we just chosen rooms? Thankyou Daisy
